Christina Blackcloud

After serving as an Intern to Iowa Senator Tom Harkin in Washington, DC and interning with the Office of Ethics for the USDA, Christina knew she would be a life-long advocate for the under represented.  She understands the importance of listening to those she serves and firmly believes Iowa deserves a representative who understands that protecting our future is imperative.  

Christina advised, “I discovered early on that one of my passions was to help others, so I’ve spent my life working with many different different audiences helping to build policy development through research, planning, and through my work with tribal, local, state, and federal political directives.  I promise to fight to decrease Iowa’s “brain drain” by advocating for prosperous economic opportunities, teamwork, an entrepreneurial environment, and an affordable education system.”
